NIGHT VISION EXPLAINED!!

Feather & Fur decided to put
a
new DVD together, because of a topic that has
generated much enquiry, so it has prompted us to
offer a very basic DVD that explains and shows night
vision and its plus factors!
On this DVD we show and explain night vision in
general and show the novice from the beginning
stages of night vision and what it’s all about, also
showing the units in actual form. The Cobra Meteor
is the model in discussion here and the concept of
NV is demonstrated from using this unit as a base
station so to speak.
The DVD is easy to follow and is given in an easy to
understand fashion for the person not familiar with
NV.

PLEASE NOTE;
We are
not making this DVD because we are wanting to make
money from selling NV equipment, we
DO NOT
sell this equipment, but we are offering this
DVD to people who want to learn more and want to see
first hand the real truth behind NV –
because far to many
inaccuracies are seen in movies in cinemas etc.
EXAMPLE
I
watched a movie about this hero who comes into
town and sorts out the bad guys, but in one
clip, he is in a store and wants to watch them
at night, so on the table is a MONOVISION NV
unit, he picks up a couple of things and then
grabs the NV monovision laying on the counter,
he does not look if its got battery’s or if it
works, or what power it is, just puts it in his
bag. The next thing he is laying on the sand
watching two trucks on a road driving about 600m
away, they appear so close you can read the
number plates and the detail is amazing. Again
BULLSHIT BAFFLES BRAINS. What trash,
that part was so funny I nearly fell off my
chair with laughter, man if in reality it was
that clear I could hunt jackal and see the
animal clearly at 600m!!! Now that would really
be something! He also just used the unit with NO
illuminator at all, that makes it even funnier!
We are
offering this DVD at a retail price of R395-00 the
same as our other DVD’s, it will show and fill in
all the answers you have had regarding NV, because
what you see in most of the movies at cinemas is far
from the actual accuracy and truth about NV
and
what it can actually do and ranges reached in
reality.

BE WARNED “BULLSHIT BAFFLES BRAINS”
This topic of NV is very close to other topics like
ranging at night with general range finders and what
they can actually do – like people claiming they
range a jackal with normal range finders at over 500
yards and kill them ( at night), total trash – as
most range finders ( costing under R30,000)
non mil
spec, cant range that far at night accurately
as it may range a close bush etc because of a thick
crosshair and at 500m at night a range finders
crosshair is so thick you cant accurately range a
small critter as it will completely cover the
animal, never mind a jackals eye that keeps moving,
most range finders cant even range that far in the
day accurately, so don’t be fooled by trash some
people talk, bullshit baffles brains! My family
collects military items, and our high tech range
finder will have trouble at night ranging a car at
over 400 yards never mind a tiny eye of a jackal.
Also not to forget at night to judge wind drift with
a small light . 22 -. 30 calibre bullet!
So with
Night Vision talk to a professional you are advised
to speak to, having a reference on a person
outweighs any sales pitch.
DO NOT BUY NIGHT VISION SECOND HAND
UNLESS you know the seller,
it is
very dicey,
and if
buying new make sure to buy correctly as most places
won’t take it back after you have bought it and you
find it’s not what you want.
If you have hunted and killed jackal with red lights
for years that great, BUT until you have called and
hunted with N V you haven’t really hunted a jackal,
to watch him at night come in, work the land, trot
in etc, is amazing and sometimes he stops and looks
left or right telling you others are close! You
can’t beat NV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are two EXCELLENT PRODUCTS you can purchase for
night vision hunts. Note the extra illuminator as I
explain on the DVD!
If you
purchase Cobra - Night Owl – Lunar you are making a
wise choice!! With NV always make sure you don’t buy
blind, rather get an opinion from a professional who
uses NV, this way you will get proper feedback on a
unit and not sales talk in a shop from a salesman
wanting to sell products and make a sale.
Contact
Mike for prices, he will assist you correctly as he
knows what a night hunter needs.

I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY SIDE EFFECTS AFTER
YOU USE NV; IT IS TOTALLY SAFE BUT CAN BRING ON A
HEADACHE ETC You may also find the muscles behind
your eyes are sore the following day.
On this DVD I explain the benefits of using a
BINOCULAR over a MINOCULAR, they are far better and
strain your eyes far less. I go into as much detail
as I can to explain NV and how it works. As many
people buy NV and are disappointed at what they can
actually see and distances achieved as they see
movies in cinemas and most are very misleading
regarding clarity, ranges and accuracies.

Above
is a recent photo taken in July 2009 on a jackal
hunt, we watched this dog approach from over 260m
away, we watched him all the way in with NIGHT
VISION till he was at 40m, and then you know what
happened next! We can see his eyes at 260m and when
he gets to 140m we can see his body for
identification.
Both my partner and I use exactly the same NV
binoculars, buying NV for jackal hunting is one of
the very best moves I have made so far, it has
increased my success by a large margin.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE::
ON THE DVD THE VIEWER IS SHOWN A NIGHT HUNT SET UP –
YOU WILL NOTICE THE LARGE INFRA RED LENS SHINES LIKE
A WHITE LIGHT, HOWEVER IT IS DUE TO OUR VIDEO
CAMERA’S IR WE FILMED WITH, ACTUALLY IN REAL TIME
THAT LENS SHOWS ONLY BLACK AT NIGHT – AND NO LIGHT
OF ANY KIND IS SEEN WITH THE HUMAN EYE, SO DON’T
THINK WE HUNTED WITH A WHITE LIGHT, NO LIGHTS AT ALL
ARE ACTUALLY USED. WHEN I FILM IT IN THE DAY YOU CAN
SEE THAT LENS IS TOTALLY BLACK, JUST WATCH THE DVD
CAREFULLY BEFORE IT GETS DARK THAT NIGHT.
UNTIL YOU HAVE HUNTED A JACKAL IN PITCH DARKNESS
WITH NIGHT VISION YOU HAVENT HUNTED A JACKAL
YET!!
Here is a
BOO BOO
photo! I made a mistake here and placed the dogs
head behind the Foxpro! Anyway, I still used this
photo here as it’s actually a nice photo besides
that BAD BOO BOO!!!!! This was a bad slip up!!!
OOPS!!!
BOO BOO !!!!

This dog had a very nice fur, being still very young
it was in a top class condition; Dan used a 243 here
with an 85 grain V – Max bullet, so the dogs head
was slightly missing on the back side!
HAPPY NIGHT HUNTING!!! |
